By all the love story drama.

Let it a Korean drama, Taiwanese drama/Japanese Drama.

Why do the writer/producer or whoever wrote the story, loves…i repeat–LOVEs to portray a guy/girl to be so angelic? and it somehow seems like they only got one theory for all these stories — Love CAN conquer all.

Really ??

Its a good thing where they do portray love as such an important factor in life, and we all know what love is. But bear in mind though, reality isn’t even anywhere near what the drama portrays, and most of the time, it will only lead you into another dimension– the unrealistic.

Is it because of all these drama that, some of the “unrealistic” never stops venturing into the woods hoping to find someone just like what they saw in the series?

And so this leads me to another question….

Besides trying to promote their own actors/actress, did these producers or writers ever thought about this question–What would these series lead people into believing ??

1) That love is wonderful?

2) There’s deemed to be true love out there ??

3) All the handsome/good looking guys are actually angels?

4) That when you meet love, it will always be in the most romantic places ?

5)  Poor  girl WILL always meet rich guys & all the rich guys all turned out to be super !gentlemen, super loving and super caring????

6) Poor guy will always meet rich girls, and then there’s deemed to be a big WOOHHAA before they can end up together.

7) All the rich and handsome guys will always become the most decent human beings after they meet the love of their life…their playboy character can just be chucked out the window EASILY.

8 ) Poor girls will always get bullied and the handsome/rich guys will always appeared @ the right moment to rescue her…(talking about a hero with six sense.)

9)The rich & handsome guy will always take the poor girl on the most amazing journey around the world. Because he is rich, he can do whatever he wants, he knows the law around the world, and always someone there to back them up once they get into some kind of violation. Amazing isn’t it ?

10) You can be in the most amazing places, be with the most amazing people, wear the most amazing clothes/shoes/jeweleries  when you meet your prince charming in the series.

Now, reality check.

Tell me, with the 10 items listed  above, how many of them actually existed in our everyday life? Try putting one of the really romantic scenes in the series and put it into reality, ask your boyfriend or husband to perform the same task, i thk they will only succumb to you with — you are insane!!

So if it’s insane, why does it look perfectly normal in a series like that ?

Because it’s only a series, and it’s all fake.

And because it’s fake, it’s easier to portray and write about . Make sense ?? After all they always proclaim the series to be a fake story before they begin anyway?!  And they don’t have to hold any responsibility after the show is over.

But how many of us really treat it as a fake story?

Do we not keep thinking about one day we will be able to meet someone like the prince charming in the series ?? Do we not ??? These series just leave people with fantasies…and because these fantasies are so wonderful…we keep asking for more. And that is why, these series never seems to end. One after another….each with almost the same story line.

Now that im older and kinda use my mind to think about a lot of things…..i somehow feel that, if they keep releasing love stories series like this, does that mean the younger generation will actually think there is someone so perfect out there?? Well, let me correct that , i guess it won’t only influenced the young to believe there is Mr.Perfect out there….i thk it’s more on women of all ages!!

That is not a very good thing now is it ?

Because that will only lead to some problems….problems like,

A) Because guys/girls in the series always come in Pretty/handsome, gentle, caring, fun, exciting, rich, educated, an all in all package..i will call this a 100% perfect lover’s package. When the series started to make us believe that there really is someone like that out there…..do we not compare them with our partner ?? Do we not ?? We will start to imagine, what if my partner is 50% like the guy in the series? What if he is this, he is that….and inevitably, we couldn’t help but to set our bar to an even higher level.

B) So when we set our bar high, what does that mean ?? We keep believing that there is deem to be someone perfect out there…and we keep looking and waiting….try out every opportunity we get…..and in the end..what do we get ?? a 100% lover ?? I doubt.

C) When things doesn’t seem to turn out the way we planned, we then start to get depressed, thinking why is life is so shitty ?? And never realise, a dream will always remain as a dream. For a dream to come true….it’s not gonna be as easy as you think.

The reason i’m harping so much shit about this issue is simply because — i fall into the trap quiet easily too!!! Ha! Ha! Whenever i finish a super romantic series, after switching off the tele,i always feel like the sky suddenly seems to be so much brighter!and Love is definitely in the air!! And then my mind will start to imagine things……things that are –SUPER UNREALISTIC. And i totally hate the unrealistic side of me…..i will just hang onto the issue and hoping that it will happen one day….but experience told me…..IT AIN’T GONNA HAPPEN @ ALL !!!

And so finally i succumb to the reality and stop imagining things for a while. I stop watching all the super unrealistic soapies for God knows how long.

Until one day, i accidentally came across this  series which got all my unrealistic cells up and running again!!!

Boys over flowers. (Korean version of the Taiwanese Meteor Garden, F4…ring a bell?)

Yes, Bloody hell.

Everything was perfect in the series! PERFECT !!

Nice scenery, pretty girls, handsome guys…..everything a girl ever wanted i guess. ..And so, i went head over heels with this series.  And started dreaming after that.

After a while….you know you are just being unrealistic….so back to reality. Stop watching any Korean/ Japanese/ Taiwan drama, and switch to my usual American soapies….have you heard of  the Gossip girls ?? @ least their drama are not so mushy mushy love oriented.

Just when i thought i was on the correct railway track back to reality…….i came across yet another Taiwanese drama, as the news claimed that the actor really stood out in this series….so i was thinking of just having a glimpse how great his acting skill was…..and then i just got hooked up with the series!!!

Oh btw, the guy who really stood out with his acting skills is,

Vanness Wu!!!!

Surprised!?

I really dislike him when he 1st appeared in Meteor Garden as one of the member of F4. The reason for that is because, i think he likes to act cool, action filled but non of these are related to what he is supposed to perform…expression is too over the top…..bla bla bla…….

But,

In this particular series, i’m glad he toned down on his exaggerating facial expresssions, more like a guy next door now.

Bravo.

Autumn’s concerto,

Can i say this is one of the very few series that is worth watching ??

The story is not so ” over the top”, it can be related back to the reality, and it’s some how — believable. It makes people believe love stories like this do exist!

Go watch it, and you will know what i mean.

And so, just because i wanted to have a glimpse of how great Vanness acting skill is, i tried watching the 1st episode…and then the 2nd episode…and all the way now!!!! HELP!!!! I have a feeling the unrealistic side of me is going to surface again!!!

That is why i’m writing this post to remind myself about the reality and hoping to cease fire between the realistic and unrealistic side of me.

Oh how complicated.

Anyway, it’s ok if you do not have any idea on what i’m talking about….because the person writing  is feeling the same way too!!!

I know i’ve been really slack these days….i didn’t even bring my camera around anymore!! Yeap….i gotta go find it somewhere between the spiderwebs….and then……..

Begin to take pictures again!!!!!!!
