Because it’s really such a small city that i live in, whenever it comes to weekend, the 1st thing that pops into my mind….is to go —- SHOPPING!!

Just like any other weekend, i would like to call up shops that i normally go to and check with them if they have any new arrivals! And if they do, this is what i will do,

Cam-whoring with the new dresses!! I like this top, it feels  ” Avant-garde” ! But i ended up getting the white one, cos with the white, you can see the ruffles more clearly!!

Yay Nay?? Which colour do you like more on this top?? mmmphhh…….

Yeap!! I’m liking the white more!!! By the way, you guys love my shoe?? hehehe…..

I was @ the fashion house for like 4 hours!!! Before i knew it, i had to get back home and prepare to go dinner cum movies with my male buddy!

This time, i ain’t watching movies in the old and smelly cinema no more!!! But before i get to that, i gotta show you something interesting during our dinner @ Sushi King! Wanna know what it was ??

See it ?? eat for free if you can finish the big bowl within 10 minutes!!! Wtf !! As my male buddy claimed that he was really hungry @ that time, so he decided to take up the challenge!!! And you know how big was the bowl of noodle ???

And before they start timing you, they need you to fill in a form, kinda like their disclaimer, basically saying if for some reason you die of this competition, they are not reliable for it !!!

Ok, so after filling in the form….they start the clock and HERE WE GO !!!

The waiter came over and told us something …………………

“SIR, YOU HAVE TO FINISH THE SOUP AS WELL”

And we were both stunned! How to finish the soup lah!! You know how much are there o not ??

So poor fella, gotta drink the soup somehow……

Just when there was only 3 seconds left……my male buddy gave up…..and luckily he did!!! Otherwise he would have throw up already!!!

And this is what was being left….

I know, it might seemed very little here….but hey…..try eating this huge bowl of fucking noodles in 10 minutes and don’t throw up!!!! To me, it was a mad challenge!!! I think my male buddy did well…..and he actually said he’s gonna go back and challenge them AGAIN!!!! Anybody wanna join the crowd ??? hehehe

Well, soon after the “VERY FULL” dinner, i couldn’t wait to get up to the newly opened cinema!!! The MBO !! Wohoo!

See the long queue ?? And if you would like to avoid having to wait in a long queue…all you need is to fork out some $$$ like Rm120 to get a member card and then you could use a Kiosk machine to purchase your tickets!!!

All you need to do is to insert your card and walah! you can pick and choose which movie you wanna watch Monday-Sunday!!! Tell me how cool is that ?? It’s so much better off than listening to some prigs saying ” Oh sorry, you cannot purchase tickets for the next day movies!” Yeah right, oh no….you can so do it right now!!!

And how do you get into your cinema???

See the numbers from 1-8? When either one of them is blinking, meaning the desired cinema is now available, and if your movie happens to be in that particular numbered cinema, that means it’s your turn to watch movie!!! So, here we go!!!

I was pretty impressed with the layout of the cinema, it reminds me so much of the cinemas in Singapore!!! Once you pass through the ticket person, you are then being lead through a staircase to go upstairs where all the cinemas are!!!

And…..i was really impressed with the cinema seatings and arrangements!!!

Couldn’t really catch the whole picture of the theater, guess you guys just have to go watch a movie and experience it yourself !!!

I was overall impressed with the standard that MBO brought to the viewers in Kuching. I hope they keep up the good work and the good standard in hopes of  bringing our movie experience to a new level !!

There were some parts in this movie that were quiet scary……and if i were to know it earlier, i wouldn’t have watched it….but too late!!! I was being scared already!!! Darn!!!! But, i gotta tell ya, besides the scary part…..it was a damn hilarious show!!!! It certainly is one of Jack Neo’s best production!!! And i strongly recommend it to everyone!!! Go have a big laugh guys!!!! Haha

I’ve developed a new hobby–which is like carrying my camera around whenever i go these days. I guess once you have your own blog to take care of, d “camera” suddenly becomes a big part of your life.  Yay? nay?

Anyway, i had an early morning today, partly because i had to go to church, and another part is because my dad asked me to wake up and help him clean the house windows !!! Can you believe it ?! So yeah, you can imagine how tired i am right now!

So, since i seldom clean the windows, i thought hey, maybe i should bring my camera along, maybe while cleaning windows, i might spot some really interesting or gross stuff along the way, i mean whichever comes first. I thought i was going to encounter a lot of lizards, their eggs ( errrk gross) or even catching them @ the right time while they are mating? But, non of that happened. Which in other words, i think my windows are pretty clean. Hehehe… and thought to myself that i don’t have to put so much energy into cleaning !But I gotta tell ya, it was a nightmare having to clean the windows! Regardless the dusty level! Oh crap!

Anyway, since i have a lot of windows in my house to clean, and they all have to be clean both sides ( bloody hell), i happened to wander through my little garden which i think i haven’t been there for like a decade or so… and to my surprise, I’ve discovered some really useful plants!!!

The 1st one i saw was,

The Aloe Vera!!! Does anybody know how useful is Aloe Vera for the human body? From what i know, Aloe Vera could help you to cure,

1) Sun burnt

2) Mosquito bites

3) Minor cuts

4) The meat after cooking is good for the skin ( with the non-poisonous type that is. And that i have yet to learn to differentiate!)

So how do you go about using this raw aloe ?  I haven’t done this in a long long time, nowadays i just get them from pharmacies! But if memory serves me right, normally i will just get a scissor ( those gardening type, make sure the blade isn’t rusty.) And then I’ll chop one of the sharp leaves off, to reveal the “gluey” inner side. Then just rube the “gluey” side on the affected area on your skin. It’s darn soothing  ok!! Especially when you have sun burnt. And if you have mosquito bites, you just need to apply a small portion of the “gluey” thing onto the bitten area and wait for a couple of minutes. Same goes to the minor cuts. The cooking part I’m not so sure about the recipe. I guess i will generally use it for insect bites and minor cuts!!

2nd, we have the,

CACTUS!!!

I was so surprised to see a cactus in my garden!!! This, i don’t know what is it useful besides the meat is edible !! I once saw on a culinary program, they actually peel off the skin of the cactus and fry the cactus meat with chili peppers and chicken meat ! Does it taste good?? I don’t know, because i never really tried that before. Anybody know what is cactus good for ?? Do leave me a message if you happens to know any yo !

The 3rd plant i saw was this,

The Pandan leaves !! For those that don’t really know what pandan leaves are….they are famously used for dishes like curry, the scented rice that comes alongside curry or satay. And then the wide range of desserts that uses pandan. Desserts like agar agar or jellies, kuihs, and many many more !!! i can so imagine myself making some agar agar with these leaves !!!

Oh, bet not many people know this, another great thing about pandan leaves are, they are good @ preventing COCKROACHES from invading your house! I guess this is by far the most efficient way to keep roaches out of your house!! So,  go try it !!You will be amazed by the result !! It’s cheap and it works !!

The 4th plant i saw was,

PAPAYA!!!! By far the most efficient local fruits that is good for constipation? No ? Well, @ least it works for me!! Ha! It’s not advise however to take too much papaya, because it is said that the orange color on the papaya could stained your skin. How true? not sure.

Another good thing about papaya tree though— it is believed that the leaves are good for curing dengue. ( This is what i read from one email my friend sent me) All you need is the papaya leaves. Grind them to get their juices and then drink it raw !! How true? Not sure too !! Perhaps someone could verify that for me ??

Walking one round along my little garden had been fruitful!!! Wonder what’s in store for me in my backyard !! Will have them discover soon !!

It’s on a Saturday.

So what do i normally do on weekends?? Today is an extraordinary busy day for me, and i just got home around 10:00PM!!! I think i was out since 11:30am today!!

So what’s keeping me so busy??

Had an early breakfast this am with a friend of mine, and then went for my usual ” TREATMENT” session with mum. Treatment session involved getting myself beaten up, which results in something like this,

Yeap this is how my shoulder looks like now. Scary?? Everything comes with a PRICE. Hehe..i hope after the treatment my shoulder pain will go away!!!

So after the treatment, i went for my Manicure & Pedicure session together with mum.

And then there were some extras….while doing my manicure, i saw they had some lettering that you can stick it onto either your toe or fingernails, and those letters were really tempting!! So i had to have it!!! So wha lettering are they??

DIOR!!!! hehehe……Aren’t they cute??( Just in case these are not from the real Dior shop, you guys should pursue the liability from the nail shop hehe…Because they are the ones who provide them.)

So after me and mum finished with the nails, we went for fruit shopping!!

Lotsa fruit aren’t they?? These are mostly imported fruits, they have fruits from Australia, New Zea land, South Africa, USA….We love to come here for fruits, because they have a wide variety and their fruits are fresher!!

After the fruit shopping, we were darn hungry….so we opted for a nearby restaurant named175c for our dinner,

This restaurant actually offers free fish Spa!!! I didn’t try it though…i mean if it’s free….how good can it get?? They probably never change their fishes!! Yiaks!! Anyway, the food weren’t that great too….so i couldn’t be bothered to take any pictures…but the drinks were pretty good!!

Mum ordered the Latte Caramel, she said it was REALLY GOOD!! I tasted it……i really couldn’t tell if it’s really that great because i don’t drink coffee!!!Too bad….but my chocolate mint was actually not bad either!!

Really felt like i was eating Mint Chocolate while drinking this!!!

And then i asked mum to take picture of me using my ifone….and this is the result after a few attempts….

A lot better?? But without the smile!!! Sorry folks!……Yeah i know i look pretty pissed in this photo…but actually i wasn’t…it was because people were staring @ me….so i quickly took the pic and hid my camera away!! Darn these people!

After dinner, was thinking of paying my credit card…..turns out the road to my bank was block!!! Darn!!! Took another route back….and found this  alley i never knew existed…..

It was surprisingly neat and tidy!!!! Wonder where the alley leads to…..does anyone from Kuching knows??

So got home around 10:00pm !!! Exhausted!!!

And  this is how i spent my Saturday……how did you spend yours?

Yes ? No ?

Well, i didn’t come up with the term ” Simple & Elegant” for those nails, it was actually from the person who did my nails.  You know why? Simply because when she 1st did my nails, it was the worst ever. You can check it out here. So this time, she opted for a simpler version– a base colour with some crystals! Seriously, i could come up with a better choice and design, hadn’t she be the lousy one.

My nails have been “emptied” for a couple of weeks, and eventhough i know my nail session is long overdue, i just don’t feel like having them polished up again. Wonder why?— A common sentence from a guy — ” I thought every girl likes to dress up nice nice, hair nice nice, nails nice nice….everything nice nice?” Well, it’s indeed the simplest truth and the only thing that you need to know about females! Hahaha… But….in this case, i’m hating the smell of nail polish and all the other chemicals that comes alongside.

The other reason being– every time when my nails are done, i felt like a useless person! I cannot use my hands!! If you accidentally press your nails against something, you might turned hysterical instantly. Y? because u know @ that very moment, your pretty nails are ruined and so is your money! Seriously how can you keep your hands from moving when they are meant to be moving all the time? Tell me how torturing is that? Even reaching for keys or wallets from your bag is prohibited. 

“Then why do you still wanna go do your nails when you hate it so much? This is what i called a ” SLAP MYSELF” question.   Well, simply because i want my nails to look good good?  And there’s no choice but to go through ”d” process??

On the contrary however, i would much prefer a pedicure! We need our feet to walk on, but they don’t have to do things like our hands!! So as long as your nails don’t grow too fast, the nail polish will stay on your toes let say…..forever?  Like this?

Muaaahahaha!!! Look @ my big toe nails!!!! Woohoo!! By the way, this is the ” in” colour of the season!!!  It’s neither black nor grey!! It’s “d” in between!!!  Mmmmm…let’s see how long i’m going to keep this colour on my toes!!

This has got to be my worst manicure EVER!
