Nowadays, i tend to watch movies a little behind schedule. Reason being ? So that more people will be able to participate in my voting column? Hopefully? hehehe

Anyway, so Ice Age 3. Was it good? Seriously, i couldn’t recall having to watch any of the Ice Age movies before, or maybe just vaguely, like on the airplane, or flipping through TV channels having to catch them merely for a few minutes? And i really don’t know what is the story about.

So after having to be in the cinema for like 90 minutes or so, i figured i wasn’t being bored by it and it was actually a very entertaining animation! Probably there was a lot of adventures involved, and it was really funny too!! I love it especially when the squirrel named Scrat appeared on the screen once in a while to do his “catching the acorn” move!! This time pairing with an equally smart female squirrel!! Both of them really spiced up the movie!!

And then, there were the baby dinosaurs……@ 1st I thought they were the cutest creatures in the movie,

Infact they are really cute aren’t they?? I guess they would be the naughtiest baby Dino ever existed! It’s not hard to guess just by looking @ their expression on the above poster aye ? And their mum!! I would say the most kind hearted dinosaur ever existed!! Really!!!

Well, what i meant by ” just when i thought the baby dinos were the cutest creatures in the movie?”, towards the end of the movie, elephant Ellie actually gave birth to a baby Ellie!!!! She was Sooooooo cute!!!! With the baby chuckles and everything! oh and eye lashes too!!! Can you imagine how cute it is?? Too bad i couldn’t find a pic of her on the net….anyway, you can always see her in the cinema!!!

I also love how they show signs of a tiger aging through the once ferocious saber — Diego. But i was glad that he got his old self back when he was trying to protect the little baby Ellie!!

Overall, this animation movie has left me with great surprises! And that i finally get to experience the hype of the now part 3 animation!! It was mad awesome!!!  So, I’m going to give this movie a rating of  4 out of 5 !! Still can’t beat Transformers? You might ask. Well the answer simply being because i heart action movies and it’s so hard to get pass that, so…..i have no choice but to give Ice age a 4, and Transformers a 5. HOHOHO

After having to read many reviews on the movie, i finally got the chance to watch one of the most anticipated movie of 2009– Transformers II — Revenge of the fallen. So, was it good?  To me, it was  —-

KICK ASS SUPER DUPERLY GOOD!

When most of the critics were saying the movie was all about fightings & shootings, there wasn’t any substance to it, bla bla bla….i actually totally disagree with all of them, i repeat  ALL OF THEM! It was one of the easiest movie to  understand and I’ve never enjoyed the fightings and shootings scenes in a movie so much before! And the best part? The cars and the transformation from robots to cars? Is 10 times better than the 1st movie!!! It was so COOL!!

Compare to the Transformers 1,  they’ve actually added a few really interesting characters into the movie, i would say it really spiced up the movie!!! Characters like this twins? As they call themselves,

I don’t know their names, does anybody know?? They are just so cute and funny!!! I really love both of them. Haha! @ 1st i thought what are there for? I mean they look clumsy & stupid, but in the end they did some really cool moves to save themselves from the bad guy and i think the reason they are there is to entertain!!

The other interesting character goes to the tiny robot who’s original intention was to spy and locate the “piece of stone”, (sorry couldn’t remember the name for it…haha) on Megan Fox, turns out he was actually really cute and a tiny robot with no significance of being a decepticon!  Watch out for him if you were to watch this movie!!

And last but not least, an old decepticon who got released from being a plane for a long long time. You know what’s interesting about him? He walks with a walking stick!! Can you imagine that? And he is so kind! It was him who gave Optimus the extra wings and energy to defeat the bad guy in the end!

I mean wouldn’t it be a privilege to have all these gigantic robots to help the humans to defeat the bad guys? I mean robots like Optimus and Bumblebee? I really wouldn’t mind you know.

Anyway, words cannot describe how great and entertaining this movie is, you have to go to the cinema and watch it yourself!!! You won’t be disappointed!

For this movie, I’m going to give it  a 5 out of 5 !!!

Listen up, this movie as i read from the official movie site, is from the producer of Hero and Crouching Tiger, hidden dragon.  Excuse me, where are the resemblance?  I had to read more on the net in order to find out what this movie is about. And to no surprise, it was  another anime turned movie production.

There are however a lot of successful anime movies, but sadly Blood The last Vampire isn’t one of them. If this movie is solely produced for those who read the manga/comic, then they should have @ least notify us in someway. For people like me, who has got absolutely no idea what this movie is about, will only curse and swear after watching the movie.

After finding more information online about this movie, i now know we are actually watching a lady ( half human half vampire) of 400 years old, potraying a 16 years old student ( i would love that, 400 years old looking like a 16!!!) sent to wipe out demons. Demons which are mostly mutated vampires…..seriously….what kinda vampires are they anyway?  When they are angry, millions of fire balls will gathered around them and BOOM! They turned into some sort of creatures with WINGS! How about that? And, i didn’t know in our history there has been a time where vampires existed freely looking like a human?!  See, this is the problem with the movie!! @ least while we were watching Batman, Spiderman, Superman, the movie always start off  showing the original comic before they go into the movie correct?? And especially this movie, they really need to show that!  Otherwise, make sure you read about the review of this movie before you go into the cinema!! How pathetic is that!

Anyway, if you are a fan of the brutals…..this will be the most perfect movie for you…..but it’s only when you want the brutals but not the story. Otherwise you’ll be damn dissappointed.

Oh, an extra piece of information. The leading actress, after checking on the net, confirms to be the leading actress of ” My Sassy girl” Gianna Jean Ji-hyun. And from my personal point of view, this movie did not earn her anything. Too bad.

For those that have seen the movie, tell me how you feel about it!!!

And for the rating of this movie? I’m going to give it a  1.5 out of 5

And so sensei Chloe is on leave today….for what reason?? ain’t gonna tell you now!!! Ofcourse the mystery will reveal itself once the time is ripe.

Went to watch Terminator Salvation earlier today, and guess what? sensei is loving this movie!!! For what reason?

1) It’s an action movie ( sensei cannot resist action movie)

2) There were a lot of robots involved( sensei like robots!! ooooooo), robots that are almost as intelligent as human beings. Hmmm…..do you think that is a good thing??

3) The so called Marcus ( half robot and half humans) is exactly how i picture the world will be next time. Full of robot humans.  Isn’t that cool?

4) The human detectors are actually kinda cool, and the robots motorbikes are cool to the max can!

5) The movie is so much better compare to Arnold’s time, he didn’t make a wrong decision when he decided to be a mayor of …………i cannot remember which city states in America. This time, they change the whole story into someone who look exactly like human, talks like a human and feel like a human who infact is a robot.

sensei Chloe would recommend anyone to watch this movie, however please bear in mind that the action is a bit hard core in this movie.
For those that have already watched this movie, how would you rate it ?

Again, as you grow older, when clubbing, Karaoke are no longer of an interest anymore, most of the time you will find yourself keeping an eye on movie release.

And this weekend, i found myself deciding between The Museum or The Monster. In the end i went for the Monster, because i’ve read some good reviews about it.

Unfortunately in Kuching we don’t have a cinema that could support 3D movies, so basically we are watching a 3D movie without actually having the privileged to wear the cool 3D glasses. Sad, but true.

It was overall a very short animation movie, The Monster VS Aliens. A merely of 90 minutes.

Was it good?

Definitely entertaining but boring. What was i talking about? Since it was entertaining why was it still boring?

Well, if i were to tell you the story line without it being a movie, you might think i’m childish with no limits.  Don’t believe it? Let’s try.

San Francisco city has been invaded by Aliens. And apparently nobody can do anything about the Aliens. ( really? what about the Terminators?) And so, LUCKILY a general has kept  a few weird creatures that they found on earth in a decreed area, and finally after the Aliens invasion, they’ve decided to set these creatures free to attack the Aliens!! They call those creatures Monsters! and so it’s Monsters Vs Aliens! TA DA! Interesting?

It’s however entertaining, because of how they portray each character. The way they speak/act. It was funny. But i guess that’s about it.

If i were to let alone the storyline, some of the Monsters are actually kinda cute!! Guess my favorite character goes to these 2;

BOB…..he is so damn cute!!

and

The Insectosaurus! Which turns into a butterfly in the end!! & I duno WHY!!!!!
