Oh my gosh!! I’m actually in the mood to write today!!Ok! So what should we talk about ??

While scrolling through my phone, i saw a couple of photos which i took just 2 days ago, after we  got off work. I was amazed by what a strong wind can do to our environment .

I live in a tropical country. And because of that, we don’t get the four seasons like some other lucky countries do. All we’ve got is the Sun and the rain. Since it’s almost the end of the year, predictably we will be getting more and more rain for the upcoming months. How do we know ?? Let’s say if we are getting a lot of sunlight throughout the day, and the humidity that comes with it is above what we would normally be experiencing, then we will predict “heavy rains” in the evening.

So, just like any other day, last Friday, ( which was 2 days ago) we started to get rain @ about 3pm local time. But then, the rain got so heavy that the wind accompanying it actually started to roar !!! How many of you here have actually heard a wind roar?? The sound is horrid! If there’s any other closer words to describe. Me and my colleagues were all standing in front of our huge glass window and watched the pouring in awe.  It was indeed a crazy rain.

As we got off work, i thought….”hey, it was just a heavy downpour, no big deal.” Then i saw trees were falling down, branches were everywhere on the road!!!And when i drove out to the main road, this is what is saw,

Some of the trees i thought were quiet strong, actually couldn’t withstand the crazy strong wind too!! And for some reasons i hate seeing trees being chopped off.

Oh well, i know comparing to other countries which are suffering from the devastating nature’s disaster…this might seem a little amateurish, but on the other hand, i don’t think things like this should be just seen as a “aftermath of a strong wind”. The strong wind seemed to be telling us, the nature is pretty angry @ the moment.

So, do your part in protecting our mother earth, i think @ this point of time, it’s fairly important.

I’m extremely sensitive to what luggage guys use when they go traveling. Call that weird but, this is just how i am.

As much as i do want to accept the fact that not all guys have the ability to differentiate a good looking luggage and a bad one, i just couldn’t get pass that, i still think having a good looking luggage is very important for a guy. Why?

Below is solely my own opinion……

Me, Chloe, just don’t understand, with the vast variety of luggage to choose from these days, why do some people still prefer to roam around the airport carrying something looking like this ?

Or this,

Ok, these luggage might be made of good materials, good fabric, and shapes are being woven by a top luggage maker…but, for me, they just don’t seem attractive !! Does it seem attractive to you ??? Imagine people who are carrying it, how will the overall look be ? Imagine Brad Pitt carrying a luggage like this? no ? For goodness sake, why can’t they come out with a better shape ? Something that will enhance a person’s appearance rather than pulling the overall look down the drain?

It’s true that, shapes like this might be cheaper to make, and it appeals more to people who don’t wanna spend so much on their luggage. True and it totally make sense. All I’m saying is, instead of buying a luggage that’s so awfully looking, might as well look for something that are almost in the same price range, but a better looking luggage.

The biggest problem i have with these luggage, besides being  ill looking,  it doesn’t come with a distinct shape. Meaning when people are doing their last minute shopping, they will squeeze and squeeze and squeeze all the stuffs they bought into the luggage bag and then?? The whole thing just expand into a balloon!! Now, is that what you want people to see?

And some luggage really go all the way, like this……

Wooaahh!! The fabric, the colours, the materials are all wrong!!!  It looks bulky and heavy. Not very user-friendly now does it ?

Sometimes when i see people carry bags like these, i did want to walk to them and ask ” Excuse me sir, lady, would you mind if i throw your luggage bag away? Cos i really hate seeing them!!”  But i guess if i were to do that, i might stir up some “unnecessary” dispute.  Ha!

So why do i think choosing a luggage bag is so important ?

1) A luggage is a good way to tell people what kinda person you are. Yes? No?  Whenever i’m in the airport waiting lounge looking @ passerby, i normally focus on their luggage rather than the person. If i spot a more innovative luggage, i will think the owner of this luggage must be innovative too!! And most of the time, they relate!

2) How you choose your luggage also reflects how organised you are.

If keeping things organised is not what you are good @, then you will most probably look for something that has a huge storage space. And most of the time, people will go for luggage that are made out of fabrics. Sorry to say this but, I HATE LUGGAGES THAT ARE MADE OF FABRICS! Especially those that comes with pockets and zippers! Most of the time, people like to squeeze their last minute shopping into the many pockets, and i really can’t stand it when i see the luggage being squeezed,making their luggage look out of shape and ugly. For goodness sake, airport is also considered a public place, and everything that’s on you will reflects you as a person, unless you don’t care, but most of the time, i just cannot get pass that!! Can you?

3) Using plastic bags as one of your luggage.

This really is a classic. Ok lets not mentioned it as a luggage in this case. What about a carry bag then ? I once was waiting in line to have my baggage check in. And there were a few uncles and aunties in front of me. I mean if you cannot carry anymore just don’t buy so much correct? What’s the point of carrying strawberries that were already rotten and all the juices leaking out of your carry bags and letting the smells go everywhere? That’s disgusting! And how will people look @ you ?

4) A luggage also reflects your overall taste as a person.

For example, i see this guy and i don’t know him. He dress up real smart, walk like a prince, and then when you look @ his luggage, it’s non other than the ugly type!! I don’t know about you, but for me, his perfect image has just been wiped out completely !! Yeah it’s that bad!!

5) Your luggage is also your identity.

Am i repeating myself ? Anyway, I’m a girl who likes the colour PINK ( as if you don’t already know) so, for my luggage, i will always go for Pink colour ! & people will always go like, Pink luggage! Must be Chloe’s …..hehehe…..get the point ?

So what i’m trying to say here is, it’s not only the shirt or pants or shoe you wear that needs your consideration, things like luggage bag you also need to go the extra mile to make sure you got the right one! Once you get the right one, i’m sure it will boost your image or confidence to a new level!!

Still no idea what i was talking about ?? No problem, lets have a look @ what celebrities carry when they are @ the airport —

David Beckham

I’m sure he is one of the celebrities that travel like almost everyday and appeared in the airport like almost everyday! So what kinda luggage is he using ?

Ahh….LV luggage. Cool? no ?

Does the olive green Valextra hand carry luggage bag looks appealing to you?? It’s neat and stylish don’t you think?

Ahh….and another LV….Cool!!

But haven’t said that, I’m not saying ALL of us, like the general public should carry LV bags or any other branded luggage in order to ride a plane. But looking @ what celebrities carry will somehow “inspire” one to have a sense of what kinda luggage looks good on a guy and what don’t.

Anyway, so…why do i think I’m no longer focusing on their luggage @ this point ?? hahaha…….

I mean there are still many examples out there which you can just google it and find out what other celebrities are using besides the above 3, and I’m sure by studying each and one of them, it will be really easy to know how to dress and carry to impress while in the airport !!

CHUCK THE UGLY LUGGAGE MENTIONED ABOVE INTO THE BIN OK! LIKE THROW AS FAR AS YOU CAN!

Of course, i’m not saying all the females who possesed a face shape like this are entirely like that. (I really hope that someone will prove me wrong!) But after coming back here and meet some long faced again…..they are still basically the same species. And the good news is, i’ve got a couple in my office!!!!
