I guess for the pass few days, the most speculated news on the Internet would be the filling of the 4th seat on the judging panel on American Idol. It was undoubtedly Ellen Degeneres.

When i 1st learnt about the news, i was like  — WHAT ? then after about 2 seconds or so, WTF came out of my mouth.  Ellen Degeneres?? Are u sure ? How is she related to the music industry ?? Followed by an internet poll on how people think about this verdict, 55% of them thinks Ellen is not fit for the chair, and 65% thinks that it’s unfair to be judged by someone who totally has got nothing to do with music. Which, i think  does make sense.

I don’t know how many readers of my blog is a fan of American Idol, but i’m certainly a BIG fan of the show!! And i actually cannot wait for the new season, which will only air Jan 2010.

Well, it’s not like i’m a HUGE fan of Paula to begin with, but AND because i’m not a fan of Ellen Degeneres show as well, so i’m kinda caught up in between shocking and accepting. But i mean there’s really nothing we viewers can do @ this point, if only they could allow choosing the judges by voting, then i guess that would be a lot fairer and more fun!!! Don’t you think? Say for example, giving the viewers a few judges to choose from, then let the viewers vote for their favourite judge!!! Cool? no ?

Oh well….like it or not, we just have to wait for the new season and see how is she really like before we can judge yay ?

Update: Just when i was reading the entertainment news, a news shocked me — Patrick Swayze died @ the age of 57 on Monday 15th of September 2009, loosing his battle against Pancreatic cancer.  R.I.P Patrick, we will miss you.

And i’m so sad right now.
