Chopped?
When i was still in Sydney, i’ve had an encounter with parking coupons. You must be thinking…what? Parking coupon also got encounter ah?? It’s like this…..
I couldn’t find a local parking coupon, let’s just borrow other country’s 1st lah
So i remembered one day we went to this Sydney Casino, and then when we were about to leave, we need to hand them our parking coupons to what? Yes….to be chopped right?? So, i went to the counter, a few macho guys were sitting behind the counter, and i said in a loud and firm voice assuming i was right mah…..this is what i said ” Excuse me, can i have my ticket chopped?” One of the macho guy who attended me pause for a second and say ” CHOPPED?” then he look left and right to the other macho guys laughing uncontrollably…..and after a couple of seconds, with his BIG RED face, he said to me……” u mean VALIDATE?” WTF!! @ that very moment…i just stood there with unbelievable humiliation. So ladies and gentlement…..it’s VALIDATE….not CHOPPED!!!!!!!
