I always thought there’s a reason why God gave each one of us different skills and task to handle in life. One of the reason i presumed…would be to make this world an interesting place!!
Was amazed by my sister’s handcrafting skills during my visit to Sg a few days ago…i saw her unfinished products during my last visit somewhere around Nov 2008, and i thought it’s gonna turn out either like shit or very very like shit. But……i have to say….the finished product is no where near shit @ all!! Way to go Sis as a first-timer!!!
Here are some images showing you the “delicate” handcrafted pieces….
I didn’t exactly ask her what these models are supposed to be, but i guess you can just guess by looking @ it….i think this should be a sitting/resting place for 2 lovers under a tree after a hard day work of harvesting apples!!
This is a bathroom with a cat trying to mess up the place!
This to me is a bit like an old cottage kitchen…..

So what do you guys think?
For those of you who enjoy spicy food, here’s a recommendation for you. If you happens to go Singapore please do try out this delicious Ayam Penyek restaurant @ 1st floor Lucky Plaza, Orchard.
I guess they are too used to the Queue, normally they will distribute their order list to the ones waiting so by the time there’s a table for you, your food will be serve right up!!

Just like this,
We had gado gado, a vegetable dish covered with satay sauce and topped with tapioca & prawn crackers. I didn’t quiet like the veges with the satay sauce, but when the crackers are soaked with satay sauce…..mmmmpphh~~delicious!
We also had this sour vege soup, this is a must try!!! Really yummy!:P
The famous Ayam Penyek, watch out for the chilli paste!! It’s super duperly hot! I could only have a little….because it’s really too hot for me!
And i ordered the Prawn Penyek, mmmm….the chilli paste is the same…HOT! but i still prefer the ayam….i think it taste better!!! So go try out folks!!
Satisfied…mmmmpppphhh~~
The reason i like to visit S’pore so much, besides shopping, visiting my sister, it is also because i would like to visit them….
Yuan Yuan as well as Mei Chan ( the character from Totoro)!
The one above is call Yuan Yuan ( meaning round round in mandarin) She used to be really round when we 1st got her in Hk in the year 1989! Now mayb due to the years gone by she might have grown up a bit and lost a bit of weight! Hahahaha…i know i’m scaring you guys off! Don’t worry, it’s actually just her cotton that needs to be taken care of. Yeah so we gave her a name Yuan Yuan. It was a birthday pressie for my sister and it just so happens we were in HK that time, and saw this really cute doll! I remembered we got in from HK Plaza. We grew to love Yuan Yuan so much that the next trip we visited HK, we said to ourselves we are deemed to buy another Yuan Yuan, but sadly to no avail. So, Yuan Yuan has been with us ever since.
As for Mei Chan, she’s quiet new to the family, only got her somewhere end of last year. She was specially flown in from Japan! You can tell just by looking @ the quality of their fabric! So Mei Chai and Yuan Yuan are now best pals, because they both come in almost the same size!!
Below are more pics of Yuan Yuan and Mei Chan

Some people freaked out when i talk dolls to them….but for me, i think it’s a pretty normal thing considering everyone has their own hobbies, their own liking in many different things, so i hope you guys won’t freak out too much and that i would be able to blog more about Yuan Yuan and Mei Chan and their brothers and sisters!! Haha
So i have a question for you guys, do you think Yuan Yuan is a boy or a girl?
How’s everyone doing on this Sunday evening? Glad to know that the alarm clock won’t be sounding early morning tomorrow?
Well, me on the other hand is storming in and out every single store i wanted to visit these couple of days and will be doing so again tomorrow….one thing i notice though, the economy is hitting this country bad…..
Will be updating again when the dust is low, meaning when i’m home cool and collected.
Have a great night guys!!
XOXO
Everytime when i visit my sister, she will always treat me something that is either really really nice….or something that’s really weird.
And instead of having something warm in the morning, i’m having this
a stick that’s wrapped with green tea ice on the outer layer.
1st bite, there’s a layer of condensed milk, quiet sweet.
Luckily there isn’t too much of the triple times sweetened condensed milk, then comes the yummy red bean ice cream! With real beans!
Here’s a closer shot of the red beans

As if there’s not enough shot for the red beans, here’s another one!
And the yummy stick comes in a package like this.
Have a great morning guys!!!
