It’s that time of the year where there’s only like 2 months left till the end of the year and the scary question will start to pop into my mind — What have i achieve this year ? And i can see that my answer will be like an even scarier answer —NOTHING ?

Oh boy, what should i do having this to be like my answer for  THE moment ? Should i blame it on the economy where i didn’t get any like “extravaganza” projects to work on this year ? All of them were like small prawns project and to me it’s just  something to let your time pass by.

And if you were to ask me to list out my achievements of the year, to tell the truth….i won’t be able to do so!!! Haha…but if you were to ask me to list out how i splurged my money…..I think i will have no problem doing so….hehehehe

How nice if i can have a life where all i need to do is to splurge my money on SHOPPING & SHOPPING and MORE SHOPPING! and chuck the word — WORKING  aside…like kick it off as far as it could possibly go.

OH HOW NICE WOULD THAT BE !!!!!!

errmmm….wait a minute…….I might be achieving something pretty soon…..that is go Traveling ? Like the travel really far type ?? hehehe……but that has not been solidify yet . So……i will just have to WAIT WAIT & WAIT !!!!! oh how i hate waiting.

Anyway, so mind to tell me what have you guys achieved @ this point of the year so far? Anything will do…..i just wanna know so that i won’t feel so sorry for myself….and all the answer might as well be nothing….hahahaha….nah just kidding! Just tell me whatever you like…..like how many girls you hooked on with this year….how many condoms you’ve used so far…you know that kinda stuff ??? hehehe……well…let me dare you on that one. Or something like how many plates of nasi lemak have u ate this year?for the girls, how many pieces of clothes have you bought so far…how many pairs of shoes or how many branded bags have you bought so far ???

I won’t say I’m particularly crazy about this moon-cake day. 1st of all, I’m not a big fan of moon-cakes, ( except for the snow skin ones). 2nd, up until now, i still don’t really know what is the true meaning of Mooncake day. If anyone out there that knows how this day originates, you are so very welcome to leave a comment, preferably a long one so that i can know from head to toe what this festive is about.

So, just like any other festive which i have no idea about, people say HURRAY! I also say HURRAY! People eat moon-cakes, i also eat moon-cakes. People say you need to have a some sort of a reunion dinner, i also tell my parents must go and have some sorta scrumptious meal on this day.

Lucky enough, my grandad and aunty is in town. So, this special day could easily end up with a scrumptious dinner!! Hehe…@ least that is what i was thinking.

Since grandad and aunt is in town, it’s pretty normal that i had to accompany them. They were putting up @ the Sheraton four points hotel in Kuching, and I’ve got a chance to view their hotel rooms!! Finally !! I don’t know what rooms they were being put in, but it certainly is a huge room!!

This is what i saw when i walked in….a living room babe!!! I love the white office chair. So Starck !

A small dining table!!! That’s pretty cool!! Behind it is actually a wash-room with only a basin and nothing else. I kinda don’t know if that space has been fully utilized ?  I didn’t take a picture of the bedroom, cos my grandad was resting @ that time, and then i forgot to take it again after dinner, WTF !

Did you see a full height mirror just next to the dining table ?? Somehow, must cam-whore a bit…..like this,

See the BIG FAKE DIAMONDS??? hehehee…….this is one of the best buys i got from SG !! I totally love it !! And everywhere i go, people keep asking me : “Eh, ur sandals so nice hor…where you got it from har ? ” hehehehe…..

Anyway, so i brought grandad & aunt out touring Kuching for a while, eventhough there’s nothing to look @, but i guess it’s always better than staying in the hotel.

And then how time flies ………………………. It’s soon dinner time!!!

We had our dinner @ the Sheraton four point as well!!! There’s actually private dining rooms behind their coffee house!!! So discreet! Anyway, it was a small little nice room…..

So what do we have ?

1st dish, Braised Shark-Fin soup…….

I know i shouldn’t have, but i did it again. Oops!! I did it again ! ( Britney’s song)

2nd, Empurau — It’s what people call here — The best fish available in Sarawak.

For me, i think so so only leh……..i don’t know which part is the best…….anyway….

3rd dish, Duck !!!

Mmmmpphhh….this dish is so yummy !!!!!Tender and juicy !!!!

4th dish we have…..Butter Prawns!!!

This used to be my favorite dish, but now it’s already my forbidden dish. You know why? 1st of all, it’s fried….and i can’t take fried food for some fucking reasons, which i will tell you guys later….and prawn according to my dad — is very poisonous…..so i can only let my favorite dish and food pass by this time. Urgggghhhhhh!!!

5th dish — cabbage with dry scallop,

I don’t know if the chef had mistaken salt with sugar? The gravy was so SWEEETTTT !!! How to eat ??? What a pity….

6th dish, as i’ve forgotten to take a picture of it….is the normal Chinese fry noodles….which again…is too SALTY!!! Errrkkk!

And then finally, the dessert time !!!!

Point to the ball of ice-cream and ask me what flavor is it ….come’ on …….

I’m sure you will be surprised and will look @ me with the most horrendous expression ever !!! Nope, it’s not DURIAN. It’s infact  — CEMPEDAK ice cream !!!!! Ewwwwwwww……..For those that don’t know what is a Cempedak, it’s actually a local fruit which is kinda close to the same species as Durian. Both of them has got this really distinct and dominant smell to it, and they are both super heaty fruits. Yeap meaning if you eat too much you will have nose bleed or some sort. Took a few bites on this CEMPEDAK ice cream and gave up. That’s because i really don’t like  Cempedak. But for those that would like to have a try, the ice cream is available @ their Wrapped cafe adjacent to their coffee house.

So after the scrumptious dinner…and me still burping the Cempedak smell…….Ewwwwwwww……sorry…i was just joking. We headed back to my grandad’s room for a little chit-chat. But to me, i somehow still have to cam-whore a bit lah…since it’s a different outfit that i wore to the afternoon one!! Hehehee

I’m basically wearing this season’s must haves…

A shoulder padded lace top. LADIES!!! Listen up, shoulder pads are a must have this SEASON!!!!!And top with revealing zipper line, like this,

It’s a MUST HAVE!!!! Go get yours today!!!

Oh and a studded mini jeans skirt.

Wow!!!! I can totally see this as my jewelery storing boxes!!!! Hehehehe Even-though some people might not be paying much attention when sticking the stickers accurately on the metal boxes!

I did a quick rendering on an office renovation project the other day, It was kinda like a last minute thing, so a lot of the details weren’t included. But the project was still @ a pretty initially stage that time, so we weren’t expecting too much from the client too. I mean like the saying goes; ” How can you shoot the bird with only one shot?”  Well, if you haven’t really heard about the saying, that’s because nobody actually said it before and i kinda just invented it like 5 seconds ago??? hahaha….anyway, pretty much as expected, the client came back saying; ” This  isn’t exactly what we want.”

Fine, you can  have whatever you want, but i’m not gonna waste my renderings storing into some KIV folders so….here it is……

It’s just a pretty simple rendering…..but i guess it’s still worth remembering !!

Don’t cha think??

Oh, it’s not my office…hehehe….i’ve changed the name just so that “some” people won’t come jumping into my face…ya know what i mean ?

Guess what festival is coming up ??

Yeap, people in Singapore really treat going to airport like another leisure in life. Well, of course they can only do this when their airport is being constructed in such a way that, it doesn’t make people feel as if going to airport is solely for the purpose of taking a plane, or the purpose of arriving from somewhere.

The day before coming bk to Kuching, i asked my sis ” So where are we going for our lunch 2day?” She said: ” Let’s go to T3 = Terminal 3 for lunch.” Then i said :” why need to go airport to eat ?” She said : ” There are a lot of things to eat there one lah…”

Ok, so T3 we went.

Well, i’m not expecting too much especially when it’s an airport. And it didn’t surprised me much either!!! Ha ha….and one thing i really don’t understand  is, why do people bother to go Airport to do their grocery shopping or having lunch and just hanging around there for no specific reasons, where there are more interesting places to go downtown ?? Oh well, mayb that’s just their culture??

Anyway, we had a yummy lunch @ T3, it was a restaurant called  –Crystal Jade Shanghai restaurant. Serving only Shanghainese food.

Crystal Jade is a chained restaurant in SG. They have like so many outlets in Sg that I almost lost count. However, they also divide their restaurants into different categories. Like they have the normal type of outlet, a more high-end type, some other outlets serving different types of cuisine, like Korean, and now Shanghainese. I wonder will they venture into Japanese, or any other more exotic cuisines ?? Mmppph…something to look out for.

We were sitting inside a circular restaurant on the top floor, so we were able to overlooked the whole entrance of  the T3.

I ordered hot & sour soup…..it was so delicious!!!

The taste i will say is  “ngam ngam hou ” = just right

My sis ordered this dry noodle with soup. She said it was delicious too!!

And then i almost finish this whole plate of fry sticky cake !!! Sticky cake is like a famous dish from Shanghai. And to make it nice you must know how to make it tasty, and here I’ve tasted the most delicious sticky cake EVER!!!
