People in my family likes to describe me as the laziest person on earth, and for some reason, they don’t get my objection. Once you think about my long overdue post on my China trip AND, my Italy trip! Hahaha bet you’ve all forgotten about it already eh ??? Well, if not you, it’s me who has forgotten about it .

If i were to rely on blogging as my bread and butter, i think i would have been starved to death by now.

Oh and my sister likes to say to me — where’s your bread around your neck today ???………. IF you know what she mean.

Ok, so I’ve been lazy to blog these days. Part of it is because of my work……and another part is probably due to my addiction on Facebook games. You know, I used to be the kind of person who plays games from Big fish, Gamehouse…if you haven’t already heard of — Diner Dash ??? Those kinda games??? i used to be so crazy about them. When people started to talk to me about Facebook games, i couldn’t be bothered. 1st of all, it’s a free of charge game, i mean how good can these games get ???? I was wondering.

And then, i didn’t know what stroked me one day, i started off with Cafe World, and then Petville, and then Fishville, and then….now my list just goes on and on, and most importantly? I’m Addicted to it !!!!

So if you think that I’m slack, just blame it on these 2 things OK ????

Alright, I’m just gonna finish it off with my China trip…….errr….where exactly were we ???

Yeah, so Chinese New Year, i was in Xiamen, China. If you haven’t already know. After we got back to Xiamen from Foochow, we went to visit this very unique island called — Gu Lang Yu.

We need to take a ferry across to this island which takes only about 5 minutes from their mainland. And for the ride across, because they wanted to show us an island which belongs to Taiwan on this boat ride. That island is called — 金门。Direct translation — Golden Gate. And they did put like a barrier to stop people from trespassing. And yes, Taiwan is just across of Xiamen!!

So these are the shots i got when i was riding on the ferry…….

see those little islands far far away ??? They are the “Golden Gate” islands of Taiwan.

This is the statue of the famous guy who 1st traveled all the way down to South East Asia in the early days. His name is 正和。I took this photo on the ferry and everyone was like squeezing up and down, hence i couldn’t get a clear photo! Geez these people!

I would call it swaying of head part 1,

I didn’t mean to do this pose deliberately, it’s sort of in the genes if you know what i mean.

When young, my dad got so worried about me having tend to sway my head to one side, he came home one day and saw my head was swaying to one side again, and he said to me : ” If you were to sway you head again, i’m gonna bring a rope back tomorrow and tie your head to a chair…just to straighten it. ” And miraculously! My head got straighten the next day! Now thinking back on that statement that my dad made?? It was hilarious ok?? I mean did he think i was a tree by then ???

Ok, so after swaying my head couple of times, i got a warning from my sister….and straighten my head. HAHA

Basically Gu Lang Yu is an independent island. I’m not exactly sure what that means, but according to the locals, it’s an island where in the past days, this is where all the foreign embassies were.

So luckily we didn’t have to walk on foot throughout the whole island.

We get a free ride on these electronic cars!!! or tram, whatever they call it.

Took this pic while riding the electronic car/tram…..as the wind blew, it was damn cold!

By the way, there were no cars on this island, neither do bicycles.

Some sculptures along the way…..and their sculptures are kinda funny. A barber cutting hair ?? What does it symbolize??

Half way through, we had to stop the car, because it ran out of battery!!! While we wait for a replacement…..i saw something which kinda confused me for a little while, just to figure out  if i were in China or Italy by then……

I was thinking, this bed of flowers really do look nice hadn’t for those ugly flower pots underneath. Seriously, there’s a better way to display them yes??? Just camouflage the damn pots which something else!!! Geezzzz these people ! ( 2nd time….)

But i do like this view though….loving the reflection from the pond. It looks so calm and serene isn’t it ??

Finally we got to the top!!! Facing us is the Piano Museum!!

But wait…….i didn’t know we weren’t allowed to take pictures!!! Bloody hell!! Why not ??? I mean all these ancient pianos for goodness sake!!!

Anyway, i managed to steal a few shots……and here are the “precious” pianos….from long long time ago….

I gotta tell ya, there were so many interesting pianos in the museum, but we weren’t allowed to take any of their pictures !!!!! I tried so many times trying to sneak more photos…..soon after my every attempt, someone came tapping on my shoulder and asked me to keep my camera in my bag!!! Geez..these people!!! ( 3rd time….)

So, with my victory to no avail, we then went to walk around the museum….see the white building ?? and those glasses??? More pianos were displayed inside…..and i was so happy…thinking to myself….@ last….i can take as many shot as i can on these piano……

And then after the piano museum, we came across some shops along the way….selling pretty cheap stuff !!!

These things range between Rm10-Rm20 !!! Cheap ????

We even saw fresh seafood!!!!

Before saying goodbye to the island….don’t forget the finger linkin’ good and the O’Macdonald had a farm…..yeap…they sure do know how to venture!!

And the trip back to mainland ?? We didn’t get to go around the island looking @ those Golden Gates! Instead….we were being squeezed into a very very full ferry!! Felt like sardines !!!!
